We LOVE Gloria for her versatility! We wanted to create a pair of shorts that was tailored where you wanted it but had the flexibility of an adjustable cuff so you could personalise the length.
The Gloria has been created with a double elastic waste at the back, a tailored flat front, deep side pockets and a pocket at the rear. She has a tab at the bottom of each shorts leg, letting you choose how you'd like to wear her for the day
We modelled the leg on on our Gladys pants so they drop straight down from the hip, skimming but not hugging the thigh, giving you a flattering silhouette that can be worn with heels, sandals or sneakers. Tuck tops in, wear them loose or tie a shirt just above her mid-waist.
A pair of shorts that aren't too short, aren't too long - we think they're just right!
FABRIC
Made from a soft linen and cotton twill, with 3% elastin, these feel so luxurious! With yarns dyed before weaving, it has a luscious texture combining a deep grey with a light taupe to give movement and drape.
NAMESAKE
Gloria Steinem may be one of the world's most outspoken activists in the women's liberation movement. Over the years, she's led marches, spoke at rallies, wrote several books, and helped to form both New York and Ms. magazines. Today, she's still a fierce defender of social justice and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her efforts in 2013.
