Our motivation for the Junko was something wearable and luxurious. A box tee with a long sleeve, Junko is gorgeous on her own but also shines under a tunic or overalls. In a thick, luscious Cotton 300 fabric, she feels so soft to the touch and you just know that she'll keep her shape. A simple silhouette, she lets her pattern shine!

Who can't feel happy with eggplants, carrots and capsicums?? Bountiful vegetable designs in soft, rounded shapes are scattered on the deep green base colour to provide a fun and textural wonderland that translates beautifully onto fabric and provides so many colour options for pairing!
ARTIST
Teggun Ashleigh is a colour obsessed illustrator who loves to draw inspiration from her childhood. She is a full time foster carer, which is both extremely challenging and tiring, but also the best thing she's have ever done. Teggun finds a lot of her work is influenced by each child who has stayed with her, holding a little piece in her designs.
Teggun dabbles in oil painting, gardening, and now sewing. She loves mochas and cuddling her dogs, swimming in the ocean and the smell of campfires.
NAMESAKE
Mountaineer Junko Tabei shattered gender norms in 1975 when she became the first woman to successfully climb Mount Everest. She strengthened her legacy by later becoming the first woman ever to reach the Seven Peaks (the highest points of the earth's seven continents) in 1992.
